Getting pregnant is yet another reason to buy clothes, but who wants to wear their grandma's duster?

When I was pregnant with my first born, I bought only a handful of brands to be prepared for most occasions. I also looked for pieces I could wear even well past pregnancy or nursing or that served a variety of purposes. (I have kept and still use the ones I'm recommending here with the exception of the nursing top.)
